I know his mom is looking...

Just finished up this session. I know that his mom is checking in daily to see if there is anything up.

And my 17 year old sister in law peeked over my shoulder tonight to see what I was working on. All she could say really was "Dang..." In a good way of course.

7 degrees of Kevin Bacon

My customers are all referrals to me, and there is a large portion of them that I have not met before. This family was referred to me by "Baby Carter's Family" and I was super excited to work with them. However, they were nervous picking out an outfit. Well, I told them I'd have a couple of Timmy's (my son) outfits, and I had a blog post to use as an example of a different family that modeled the brown jacket. They emailed me back and said that they also knew the other family on my blog! Small world.

And Z&M... too bad that you don't live here anymore, we could be doing group dinner dates out. I loved working with these guys, just like you said I would!

No Smiles Necessary...

This little boy was so sweet. However, it was early in the morning, it was cold, and he just wasn't in the groove for photos at all. Despite all of that, we still managed to get some great shots of him. I love surprising parents. I almost always get asked at the end of every session "did you get anything at all?" Because most of my sessions are informal, and I love to let the kids just 'do their thing' the parents seriously start to worry about halfway through. I love to hear the collective sigh of relief once they recieve their session.

Boys, boys... and MORE boys...

This was a wild bunch. Not that I mind... I'm up for a challenge every now and then!! Three of the boys are hers, one is a cousin. She's expecting, so someone wish some PINK on their family!!

Fahlin Wedding

I've known the groom since he was quite young. I seem to remember babysitting him and his little brothers. I can't believe he is old enough to be a husband. And his bride couldn't have been cuter.

MANY more images to come, just wanted to get a sneak peek up here.

Congrats Josh and Katie. What a lovely wedding!!

Seeing double again...

Here come the twins again. Loving the fall colors!

Worthwhile Cause

I met these customers because they won a prize. I donated a session to a charity honoring someone who lost a husband to suicide. I sincerely hope the raffle raised a lot of money for the cause. It was such a joy to meet this family, but sad about the circumstances. Next time will be a happier note for sure!
